Learn moreDrag as Stage Art
The Berlin drag collective DUCT TAPE was founded in 2022 by EMI, Symba and Magda von Pfeffer. It combines drag with theatre, comedy, dance, music and performance art, and conceives its shows as complete works of art with their own dramaturgy, their own visual language and a clear commitment to quality.
Its productions include the self-written Christmas musical HOLY GLORY and the YouTube series HOT STUFF with eBay, alongside regular formats such as the Drag Bingo Nights and the Drag Brunch with fritz-kola. In 2024 DUCT TAPE received the REMIX Popculture Icon Award for its cultural engagement, in 2025 the collective performed with 25 artists in front of around 30,000 people on the main stage of Berlin Pride (CSD), and in 2026 an India tour with Gaysi Family and the Goethe-Institut took it to Mumbai, New Delhi and Kolkata.
