The shows: a big stage for Berlin drag
Every DUCT TAPE production is its own world with dramaturgy, visual language and a clear standard of quality. The shows close the gap between bar show, club performance and large theatre production, and regularly give new artists a big stage.
Fixed dates in the year are the Birthday Show at the end of September, when the collective celebrates its anniversary, and the Christmas shows in December.
A drag show night in Berlin
A DUCT TAPE drag show runs for about two and a half hours. The programme mixes lip-sync numbers, live vocals, comedy and dance, with guest appearances by drag queens from the Berlin scene and abroad. EMI, Symba and Magda von Pfeffer host the night.
The shows take place at changing venues in Berlin, the big productions for example at Theater im Delphi in Weißensee. For more drag in Berlin, DUCT TAPE also runs Drag Bingo and the Drag Brunch.
